At this beautiful time of year a storm of gigantic proportions has wreaked destruction on a large swath of the eastern seaboard. Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones. That is the greatest tragedy and one that can never be repaired.
Already electricity has been returned to 1 million homes. The New York subway system has been restored to 80% capacity. After reading of the flooding and damage to these systems I am amazed with this progress. And work is progressing around the clock by utility experts from all over the country.
